I’m Todd. I live on Vancouver Island with my wife, two young daughters, and our cat. Everyday, I work to intentionally navigate the daily challenges that parenting (and life) brings along with my daughters, and I strive to offer them a supportive and safe space to express and process their feelings. Through them, I have learned a great deal of patience, perseverance, and unconditional acceptance.

Recently retired from the Royal Canadian Navy, I now enjoy spending my time writing, “dadding” and immersing myself in nature, whether it be hiking, camping, or simply exploring.

I write for my girls and kids just like them, but I aim to make reading together feel fun and fulfilling for the entire family.
